In his acceptance speech, Mr. Weber, global head of HP 3D Materials and Advanced Applications, stated “HP aims to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. In May of this year HP Inc. launched our ground breaking HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing technology which addresses many of the challenges additive manufacturers face today. This new technology is ten times faster and fifty percent cheaper than the current 3D printing standards. HP Inc. has also developed a revolutionary concept which is the HP Open Platform. This open platform approach is unprecedented in the industry and enables our partners and suppliers such as Arkema to be truly innovative by directly developing user specific materials and uncovering new applications for their customers and industry leaders. We chose Arkema as a pilot partner for the HP Open Materials program because of their own innovation and expertise”.
It is a great pleasure to acknowledge the innovation of two of our key customers in the high performance materials arena. We believe that we are in a never ending race to innovate. The innovation of our customers is the engine of our success.
