Our licensees manufacture the final coatings. These talented licensees have a wide range of colors available and often can color-match your needed shade. Since Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin-based coatings do not require heat-curing, a wide range of pigments are available.
Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin-based coatings can be applied on a variety of metal and non-metal surfaces. They can be factory-applied or field-applied.

The coating performance warranties are provided by our approved coating licensees. The licensees base their warranty on the extreme weatherabilty and long life afforded by the Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin and the highly-weatherable pigments used in their coating formulations, and are often industry-leading warranties. Extreme Weatherability
Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin-based coatings have been on exposure in the demanding South Florida sun for over 20 years. These coatings are performing similarly to traditional Kynar 500® resin-based coatings.
Pigment Selection
Pigment selection is key for long-life span. Our Licensees have years of experience selecting highly-weatherable pigments.
Long-Life Warranty
Kynar Aquatec® licensees formulate the end-coating and provide you with a warranty. For more details, please visit our licensee's webpage.
Proper surface preparation is a key to solid performance. Rust, cracked, and loose coatings should be removed. The surface should be properly primed prior to applying a Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin-based coating. Kynar Aquatec® licensees can provide specific guidance based on the substrate and the project.
Certified Applicators can be reffered to you by the Kynar Aquatec® Licensees.
Kynar Aquatec® PVDF resin-based coatings can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. These coatings are typically applied in thin coats. Ensuring optimal performance of this high-performance coating is best done through an approved applicator. Every Kynar Aquatec® licensee maintains a list of approved applicators.
